ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
FARMER FOUND SHOT. (Br Telcerapli.—Prc«B Aeeo&lfttlon.) Ashburton, Juno 19. Albert Buttcrick, aged forty, a fanner at Lynn ford, near Ilinds, was found dead in 1 a paddock on his farm at 9.30 this morning, shot through tho broast. He left home a short time before bolng found, with tho object of shooting hares. SHOCKING KVKNT. Auckland, June 19. Clifford Oldham, aged seven, died. aS tho result of falling into a copper. Tho child's mother, hearing screams from tho trash-house, found tho child partly immersed in boiling ;water. He succumbed after three days from congestion of tho lungs, due to shock.
