0 SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications are for strong westerly wincta, veering to southerly, after about twenty hours. Cloudy and unsettled conditions, with rain, and colder weather, probably following in all parts of the Dominion. The barometer has a falling tendency, but will probably rise everywhere by to-morrow evening. Strong westerly winds havo prevailed, ana gales are reported in several • places in the South Island.
