FACTORY MANAGERS.
ASSOCIATION ANNUAL MEETING. (By Telesrapli.- Spccial Reporter.) Palmerston North, Juno 17 The annual meeting of the New Zealand Factory Managers' Association vm held to-night. The president, Mr. W C Dixon, was in the chair, and there wero over twenty mombers present. The bal-ancc-shect showed a credit balance of .630. Tho annual report stated that the association was inaugurating a series of papers at its annual conference, and expressed the hopo that members would voice their opinions through this channel. The chairman moved the adoption of the report and the balance-sheet. He said that the need for unity on tho part of the managers raised the suggestion of holding gatherings at other shows, sny nawera, New Plymouth, and Auckland. A gathering might even be held in connection with tho Duuedin Winter Show. Such conferences would make for' unity by bringing tho managers into closer touch with one' another. Officers wero elected as follow President, Mr. C. Forley; vice-presidents, Messrs. W. C. Dixon, M'Queon, Middleton, and Kelly; committee. Messrs. M. T. West, .1. R.
