COMPULSORY TRAINING.
BRITISH COMMERCIAL MEN IN FAVOUR. By Telegraph—Press Aesociation—Copyright London, June IC. The Association of the Chambers of Commerce has submitted to the Prime Minister (Mr. Asquith) a memorandum in favour of universal training. Tho memorandum draws attention to the satisfactory, results attained in Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa, but points out that patriotic employers are penalised under tho existing system.
