TO-DAY'S DINNER.
Written for Tiif, Dominion.] WEDNESDAY. .Macaroni soup. Casserole of mutton. Potatoes. Baked pumpkin. Apple aiul sultana rolypoly. CASSEROLE OF MUTTON. About two cupfuls boiled rice, tiro onions, three gills of gravy, chopped parsley, butter, salt, and pepper, cold mutton. Thickly grease a piedish, put in a layer of rice, then some thin slices of cold meat and onion (sliced in very thin rings); season with salt, pepper, and parsley. Continue till all is used, having rico for tho top layer; add tho gravy, cover with a greased paper, and bake in a moderate oven from 40 to SO minutes. Turn out on to a hot dish, and decorate with parsley. Serve very hot. FOR TO-MORROW. Stock, artichokes, two pounds beefsteak, suet, breadcrumbs, herbs, apples. Defiance Butter. All Grocers*
