TAHITI REPOHTED. . Yesterday the Union Company were advised by wireless to the effect til at R.M.B. Tahiti, 'hound from San Francisco to Wellington and Sydney, would arrive in Wellington at 6 a.m. on Thursday. Ihe Tahiti will discharge 1400 tone of cargo _at Wellington, including 750 tons of fruit— chiefly oranges and bananas. She will .proceed on to Sydney on Friday evening. EN EOTJTE TO 'FRISCO. GOVERNMENT STEAMERS. Tho Government steamer Hinemoa was duo at Auckand last night, in connection with her visit to tho northern lighthouses. Prom Auckland Bho will proceed to Russell, where she will act as a tender to H.M.B. New Zealand. Afterwards tho vessel will work the lighthouses in Ilauraki Gull, and will then mako a round trip to tho lighthouses further north. Tho Hinemoa is duo back at Wellington in about fivo weeks. Tho Tutanokai, which was tendering H.M.S. Now Zealand at Wanganui yesterday, will bo at New Plymouth to-day with tlic-warship. As far as is yet known, She will leavo Now Plymouth to-night for Wellington, in order to oontinuo oablo work in Oook Strait. M At 3 p.m. on Wednesday last the Union Company's R.M.S. Nfagara left Vancouver for Auckland, where sno i.B expected to arriTe on July 1. The vessel has on board 80 first-class passengers, 80 second-class, and 63 tliird-class. She is also bringing 630 tons of cargo for Auokland. In consequenco of tho Tainui having to undergo rcnairs, her Bailing from London on Juno 19 is to be taken by the Waimana. Braunfels, s.s., leaves port to-day, and goes on to Lyttelton, where she will continue discharge. The scow Echo will probably leave Lyttelton to-day for Wellington. She is expected hero to-morrow. Tho Mangapapa. ia oxpected to leave Karamea to-day for, Wellington.. She should arrivo here either late to-night or early to-morrow. Mr. A. J. Holm, mate of tho Kapiti, lias left the vessel. Mr. T. 0. Sawyers has filled tho vacancy. •The Kaitoa (now undergoing a slight overhaul at Nelson) will probably bo in Wellington on Thursday. Sho will go up on the Evans Bay Patent Slip to complete overhaul. Tho Hapourika will not leave to-day for Nelson and West Coast, but will remain at Wellington for the purpose of undergoing annual survey. Tho Union Company hope to dispatch -her for the West Coast to-morrow. It ie anticipated that the Haupiri will loavo Now Plymouth for' Wellington tomorrow. Slag, ex Corinthic, is being lifted by the Kini for New Plymouth. She leaves. Wellington, for that port to-day. Sheep, shipped at Petone wharf, were taken south to Lyttelton by the Flora yescrday. The Wairuna in to loavo Wellington for Lyttelton on Monday. Sho afterwards zoeß on to Sydney.
