The Parcels Branch of the Post Office is now located in the basement of the new Post Office building, the public entrance being from Grey Street. The public are earnestly requested to register all letters containing money or valuables intended to be sent by post. All books and sample-packets and newtpapers for places with the Dominion 'rau3t be posted half an hour before the ordinary letter-mall closes. Unless otherwise specified, registered letters and parcels-post packages must be handed in and money-ordere obtained one hour before the ordinary mail closes. All the prlnoipal malls my train and steamer close at Te Aro and- Courtenay Place Post Offices at tho same hours as at the Chief Post Office, with the exception that there is no late-fee clearance, and that malls by the ferry steamers for southern offices close at 6.15 p.m. a. p. mn'DE.N*.
