THE BEACHED INDBA BOAT.
MORE GEAR SENT UP. Salvage operations at the stranded Indra liner Lndrnbarah have been rooommenced. The Union Company's tug Terawhiti arrived _at tho 6pot on Sunday last, and is reported to have laid and connected up two moTe anchors. These anchors were secured from the wrecked Tysor steamer Star of Canada. Latest reports state that the weather is favourable, and, of course, everything depends on. that. _ • Yesterday afternoon the Stormbird, left Wellington for,the scene of operations, taking with her a quantity of salvage gear and a number of men who are to assist in the work. One of the tyser Company's stevedores also went up m this steamer. When the Indrabarah went ashore etio had in her bunkers some 1500itons of coal, and she has still sufficient left to keep her refrigerating machinery running tor some time yet. ... The Postmaster at Bulls advised as follows last evening:—"The boat wa9 moved a little to-day, and probably will b© moved further to-morrow. j™ture operations will depend more than, ever on the weather. To-day the sea was again rough."
