PRODUCTS AND J'HICES. With the increasing quantities of citrus fruits arriving from Australia during last week, the quantity of local fruits to hand considerably decreased, with the result ( that towards the end of the week there was experienced a decided rise' ill the . price of dessert and cooking apples, whilst pears held .their values very well. A fair V,quantity of Messina, >. Mildura, Sydney, and local lemons came to hand, and prices dropped considerably. Jlandarinn • arrived in larger quantities, and met with an excellent demand. The week's supply of vegetables has been heavier than for ' some time past, especially «s regards cabbages and cauliflowers. Tho former dropped in price, and tho latter showed a slight decrease on last, week's prices. A few hot-house-grown French beans and cucumbers were received, and realised satisfactory prices. _ /Friday's prices were approximately . as follow:—Fruit—lemons. .Messina, 12s.
