CITY BROTHERHOOD.

A very pleasant afternoon was spent at the New Theatre, in Manners Street, yesterday, when the Wellington City Men's Brotherhood, held its weekly meeting. An address waa 1 given by Lady Stout, the subject chosen being "The Responsibility of Fatherhood." Tie address was weil received, and often applauded by those present. Several musical items were contributed by Miss Mario Fix and Mr. D. H. Mayall. Dr. Platts-Mills was in the chair.
