SUNDAY CONCERT.

The Wellington Professional Orchestra, conducted by Mr. Herbert Bloy, gave an entertaining concert at His Majesty's .Theatre last evening. The audience were appreciative, and as usual enjoyed tho programme, which was composed of seven items, selected with excollent taste, Schubert's "M-archo Militaire," tho opening item, was ono of the most popular, as was only to bo expected considering tho quality of the rendering and the composer. The next three items woto likewise well rendered. The following item, Massenet's "Angelus," was excellent, and the effect was not loat in the item directly following—Gillet's "Loin du Bal." The concert ended with Mendelssohn's well-known overturo to "Ruy Bias," which, 51s nearly everyone will admit, is a fitting item to conolude with.
