[Speoinlly Written for Tni Dominion.] MONDAY. Kidnoy Soup. Curried Beef. Rice. Potatoes. Cabbage. Treacle Sponge Pudding. TREACLE SPONGE. Half pound flour, ilb. suet, i treacle, I cup of milk, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 egg, a pinch of salt. Warm the treaclo and milk together, add the well-beaten eg", chop tho suet very finely,' and rub into the sifted flour, baking powder and salt, add tho egg, milk, treaclo and mix well. Pour into a greased basin, and steam 24 hours. Serve with brown or treacle sauce. BEOWN PUDDING SAUCE. One cup water, 1 dessertspoon cornflour, 2 tablespoonfuls treacle or colden syrup, rind and juice J lemon, sugar if necessary, tiny pinch of salt. Boil tho water,' add tiio blended cornflour, and boil for a few minutes. Add the other ingredients; bring to the boil and serve poured round the pudding. ' FOR TO-MORROW. Stock. Potatoes.
