Corbett, late of the Holmdalo, has filled tho vacancy on tho Ennerdale. Mr. n. M'Phee, late second officer of tho Haupiri, has joined the Kaituna in a riniilar capacity, vice Mr. G. A. Gray, who has been ordered ashore on account of illhealth. Mr. J. W. Murray Is now second officer of the : Haupiri. Mr. G. Naismith, engineer of the Kapvuii, has been granted a few days' leave. Mr. J. M'Lean hoe joined the vessel temporarily.
On account of having to undergo survey here, the Mapourlka, which is due this evening, will not leave Wcllitißton for Nelson aid West Coast ports till Wednesday afternoon of nert week. After taking in a part load of sheep at Wellington the Union. Company's Wairona will proceed to Lyttelton, where she will fill up. From the southern port the Wairuna ffoes to Sydney. Having completed discharge of tho Wellington- portion of her London cargo, the Tyser liner Niwaru left for Bouth yesterday afternoon. The Tyser liner Indrapura is expected to.get away from Wellington for Townsville to-day. For the purpose of continuing Homo loading the F. and 8. Lino's Surrey left Wellington for Wanganui, Timaro, and Lyttelton yesterday afternoon. She will leave tho laist-mentioned port finally for Avonmoutli on June 20. H.M.-S. Now Zealand, which is to leave Wellington for Wangamiii, at 3.30 to-mor-row afternoon, will bo convoyed by the Government steamer Tutanekai. The Blackball Coal Oompaay'e new steamer Npakawau is expected to leave Homo for New Zealand about the end of "July;, The U.S. and A. Line's chartered steamer Baunfeln arrived at Wellington- from New York, via way port?, and berthed at the Queen's Wharf. No. 6. yesterday afternoon. The vessel proceeds south on Monday. Messrs. Johnston and Co.'s steamer Manaroa, which was sunk off the Beef Barrels reoentlv. was taken off the Wellington Patent Slip yesterday, and berthed at the Wool Wharf for further repairs.
