LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
LETTER FROM SYDNEY. Writing to Petono friends, "Stan." Brice, one of tho managers of the League touring team, states that all the members of tho League team now in New South Wales arc well, and having a good. time. Tho writer has been doing some Pigeon shooting in company with Hick Arrist. Those persons interested in League football will have the opportunity of witnessing two of the best gamps of the season on Saturday, when Petono meet Newtown, at Newtoivn Park, and Athletic meet Hutt, at tho Recreation Ground, l'etone. There will be no charge for admission, and each match commences at 3 p.m.
