Tho Public Service Commissioner recently issued stores regulations presenting tho conditions under which tho stores required by the various Government JJepartraents should bo obtained nn<l t fl d" ministered. The regulations provide that tenders for stores shall be received by a special board, designated the Stores Tender Board. Hitherto tenders for stores havo been fiealt with by tho Public Tenders' Board, which.has to deal with, tenders for important public works. Ihe creation of the new board will relieve the Public Tender Board of much detail work, eomo of it unimportant. It is notifiod in this week's Gazette iliat the i.tores Tender Board will consist of the following members'.—Messrs. W. S. Short (Asi sistant "Under-Secretary for Public Works), P. T.
