During the hearing of. an award caso to-day, a witness for the defcnco alleged that tho Inspector of Awards had - acted oppressively, and said later that such wad the geneml opinion of employers of Auckland. . . Mr. Kettle, S.M., commented somewhat strongly upon the allegation, remarking that witness should not make such remarks. Tho officers had a duty to perform, and ho had 6een no indications that the official in question was oppressive.
