BUTTER AND CHEESE PRIZES. (By Telegraph.—Press. Association.) Auckland, June 10. The various sub-committees ontriiftcd with the arrangements for the Dominion Agricultural and Pastoral Show, to bo hold (luring" tho second week of December, in order to synchronise with the Auckland Exhibition, arc displaying energy in attention to details. The show dates are: December 10, 11, 12. and 13-. A decision of importance to 'Hie dairying, industry which has been arrived at by ths General Committee is flint prize-money amoiintin', ■ to ,£(]o will be offered for competitions in factory buffer, and prize-money amounting'to .£lO for checse. There will be two classes for each. In butter, Class "C will bo for one box of butter suitable for export;(solb.), open to all factories in tho Dominion, the butter to be taken from ordinary parcels passinj into grading store, or from butter already in store on a date prior toiNovember 20, l'Jl!). Tha actual dato will bo fixed and a selection made by officials appointed for this purpose and without notice to exhibitors. The sum of =E'!o will be divided pro rata amongst the six exhibitors scoring highest lifunber of points. Class "D" is for one box of butter suitable for export ("iGlb.l, open to all factories in the Dominion, to bo .manufactured under the most favourable conditions and forwarded to one of the Government grading stores, marked with the registered number of the factory and branded, not. later than. November i 2. The sum of .£3O will be divided pro rata amongst the six exhibitors scoring the highest number of points in the. cheese competitions. Class "A" will be for | one crate of large white full cream New Zealand cheddar-shaped cheese, suitable for export. The sum of .£2O will be divided pro rata, amongst the four exhibitors scoring the highest number of points. Class "IS" will be for one crate of large, coloured, full-cream New Zealand cheese, suitable for export.
