PRIVY COUNCIL APPEALS.
COLONIAL SUGAR COMPANY'S CASE. By T«lesraDh—Press Aieoclatlon—Copyright London, Juno 10. Tho Privy Council dismissed tho petition for the rescission of tho order granting special leave to appeal in tho case of Gordon versus the Colonial Sugar Refining Company. The appeal referred to is an action by the directors of tho oompany against members of the Sugar Commission and the Federal Attorney-General for an injunction to restrain the commission- from requiring tho directors of the company to make answers to specific questions. The question of costs in the caso has teen reserved till tho hearing of the appeal. ORE VERSUS SULPHIDE. London, June 10. In. tho Privy Council appeal case the Ore Concentration Company versus the Sulphide Corporation, the Lord Chancellor (Lord Haldane) has announced that an endeavour will be made to take tho case during the present term.
