William Wright, who was charged with the murder in February last of a young woman named Myrtle Caldwell, has been found guilty, and sentenced to death. Prisoner asked that the extreme penaltybe carried out. The 'girl Caldwell was found shot, and in a critical condition, in a shelter-shed at Lane Cove. Wright, a steward, recently from England, reached homo at midnight, and shortly afterwards was found to have been shot seriously. After treatment in the hospital Wright was committed to an asylum for tho insane, and subsequently arrested on bis discharge from the institution.
