POLICE BARRACKS FRACAS.
ALLEGED DRUNKENNESS AND SHOOTING. By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright Sydney, June 10. A sensational squabble has occurred at the polico barracks. A constable, allegedly drunk, refused to leave, and the refusal was followed by the firing of two revolver shots. As the result of the affair, Constable Calwell has been, summarily dismissed from the force, and arrested on-a chargo of shooting with intent to murder another constable. Tho latter was not injured. Another member of the Force has been suspended on a charge of drunkenness.
