Time, 2min. Uljsec. There was a hostile demonstration against tho winner, who Tan "nowhere" in the Ellesmere Stakes on Saturday. SECOND STEEPLECHASE. Three miles, Hautapu, by Mitiora —Lady Sarah 1 Acute Angle * Ivororoite ; 7, ° Four started. Won by fifteen lengths. Time, lOsoo. RACING AT FLEMINGTON. (Reo. June 9, 8.20 p.m.) Melbourne, Juno 9. At the V.R.C. June meeting the principal race resulted as follows:— BIRTHDAY HANDICAP. One mile and a half.-Safrano, 1'; Mngas, 2; Durdans, 3. Ten started.
