The "American" states .that Greaves reiterates his assertion, and states that a dossier was stolen from ti' man named Schmidt aboard the steamer Kaiser Wilhelm 11. Spies occupied cabins on either side of Schmidt's cabin. AN IGNOMINIOUS COLL'APSE. (Rec. June 9,-11.30 p.m). London, June 9. The "Daily. Chronicle," which has been investigating the Greaves story, roports an ignominious collapse. The Navy List does not mention the officers whom Greaves states that ho met; the alleged offices of the British Secret' Service in Fleet Street do not exist, while the telephone number mentioned is that of a well-known dressmaker.
