FIRE AT DUNEDIN.
SERIOUS OUTBREAK. (By ToloEraiili.—Prcoß Ansoci&tlon.) Duncdin, .Tuno 8. Early tliis morning a serious firo broke out in' tho Octagon, in promises occupied by Itortlc (tobacconist). Ings (dentist), niul the "Tablet" Newspaper Company. Tho brigade came on Hie scene very quickly, and having a good supply 01 water the flames were speedily oxl . : "' guished. Hortlo's premises, including tlio sliop and hairdressing saloon, were completely burnt out. Ings's rooms jvero badly damaged, 0110 room lining Tlio 'Tablet" Company did not Miller much damage beyond a charred vail. Tlio firo started, ill Horll/s rooms. Ings 9 furniture was insured for .L3OO in Victoria Office. The buildings aro tlio property of Iho Cutten Estate.
