SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications arc for wcßt to southwesterly winds, strong to gale—cold, changeable, and showery weather generally—tho barometer is unsteady, but will probably riso everywhere shortly. West to south-westerly winds havo prevailed, strong to gale in parts. The weather has been unsettled and showery, especially on the West Coast.
