Messrs. Dalgcty and Company, Ltd.. report hiving held their usual stock sale at Solway Yards, Jfasterton. on Wednesday, when a fair yardine of sheen wero offered to a. fair attendance of buyers, the cat.nloEue comprising lamba and- fat ewes.. On account of Jtr. H. T. Hume,; of Aohanea. a good line of 36S ewe lambs was sold at 9s. 7d.; and 250 wether lambs at 9s. 3d. On account of other vendorsllediuin lambs. 7s. to Bs.; cull lambs, ss. 2d. to 65.: heavy-weieht fat ewo3. £1 Is. 9d. No cattlo were yarded. Jleesrs. James Macintosh and Co. report havinu held their weekly sale in their Waipoua. (Master-ton) sale yards on Wednesday, when they offered a very eood yardine of sheep oafl cattlo (above advertised numbers), which were well competed for throughout the 6ftlo: consenuontly there was a clearance, with the exceDtionT>f one Den of sheep and 6 head of cattle. Amonest the entry of sheep was a line of 575 fat and forward ewes, which, after very Iteen competition, were eold at 13s. 3d.
