A rather', unusual occurrence in., the /orm of--a- mild strike took place • during the fat lumb sale,at the Addington markets. Exporters, who wero operating took exception, to the presenco of a buyer who they apparently thought was. operating on behalf of one of tho local agency firms, and . tliey all .vacated ;the pons .until this buyer censed ~ bidding. Things were at a; deadlock for a little time until the buyer at last withdrew as he did not wish to spoil the sale, which would have happened if he ha<l continued, and ■business then went on in tho normal TOanneiv - • • •
