TAHITI FROM SAN FRANCISCO. The local office of the Union Compauy lias been advisod that K.M.S. Tahiti, Which left San Francisco for Wellington, on May 28, has ten first, five second, and 15 thirdclass passengers on board for Nctf Zealand ports; and 20 first, 30 second, and 10 third-class passengers for Sydney. In addition to a large quantity of lumber, the Tahiti will land 600 tone- of general cargo at Wellington. She is due dn port oil June 19. 1 CASE OIL FROM NEW YORK. , At present two of tho Vacuum Oil Company's chartered steamers aro on their way to Neiv Zealand ports with, large cargoes of case oil. They are the Wakefield, which cleared New York on May 8, and which is due at (Wellington, via Dunedin. on Julv 20, and also the Cape Breton, which left' Now York on May 12. and whieh is duo at Auckland on July 20, and Wellington about July 30. A. AND A. LINE MOVEMENTS. The local agents for the A. and A. Lino have been advised that tho following steamers have been fued to load at NewYork on their behalf. Tho Tysor Line's Star of Scotland is expected to sail for Now Zealand ports on June 9, and tho same company's steamer Mimiro has been fixed to leave on August 11. On July 21 a steamer, not yet named, is to liavo New York for Now Zealand ports. SUFFOLK LEAVES LIVERPOOL. Cablo advice has been received by the local agents for the F. and S. She should arrive In port this evening or to-morrow morning, and leares for the Brothers and Jackson Head lights on Friday. The Union steamer Ooilnna will not arrive ot Wellington from tho couth till tomorrow. Departure will bo taken for Nelson and Now Plymouth the samo day. Chaif for East Coast bays is to bo lifted at Picton this week for Messrs. Richardson and Co.'s steamer Koutounui. It has been decided that tlio Kowhai will leave Dunedin at noon to-day for Onmaru. .She works tho latter port to-night. Tima.ru to-morrow, Lyttelton on Saturday, and is due at Wellington on Sunday. Departure will be taken for Napier and Gisborne on Montlav. It is probable that a call will be made at Picton en route to tho East Coast. Thf Kaiiu left Napier on Monday evening for Greymouth. Timber will be loaded at tho latter port for Tokomaru Bay. The Shaw-Savill steamer Athcnic left Lvtteltou for Wellington at 5 p.m. .yesterday.
