THE WEATHER.
FORECAST AND SUMMARY. Present indications oro for moderate to strong westerly winds northward of New Plymouth and Kapier, and freshening northerly wind's elsewhere. Fair to cloudy weather probablo generally, but unsettled and showery on the West Ooar=t and southern districts of the South - Island. Tho barometer has a falling tendency everywhere. The rear qf the cyclone which passed ovot the South Island on Tuesday was accountable for less severe weather conditions than accompanied the front of t.hc system on Monday. Fair weather prevailed yesterday and to-day in many part 3 of the country, but ohowery weather continues on the West Coast of tho South Joland. D. O. The rest of the day was stormy and threatening. Feilding, Juno 4.—A dull, threatening day. Hastings. Juno 4.—To-day has been, warm and spring-like. Featherston, June 4.—Fine and bright, passing clouds. Ciirtertou, Juno 4—Tho weather is fine, with a keen atmosphere. A little rain fell during the night. Greytown, June 4.—'The weather it? bright and iine, but it rained a little during tho night.
