For tho Melbourne Cup thpre are record entries—233—including Bobrikoff, Antoin. ette, Anna Carlovna, Midnight Sun, Bridge, Moonbria, Mowbray, Rinaldo, and Ogier. .The Grand National Hurdles entries total 61, including Wimmera, and the Steeplechase 39, including Captain Jin- / gle. ' The Caulfield Cup entries constitute a record, namely, 231, including Antoinette, Broadsword, Moonbria, Midnight Sun, Bridge, and Valido. For the Australian Hurdles 01 entries have been received, including Julian, Bridge, Wimmera, and Turbino.
