At tlio Ilutt Court jesterday, charges were preferred against several motor-car owners and chauffeurs for excessive driving within the borough. Arthur Mills, borough inspector, stated that the stop-watch was checked by Constablo Cameron on encli occasion. Several defendants, in evidence, declared that the portion of tlio road where the trap was set was dangerous for excessive speed, and it was ouly courting disaster to go faster than fifteen miles an hour.
