THE SPHERE OF THE CHURCH. By Telesraph—Press Association—Copyright i London, June 3. Mr. A. J. Balfour,'speaking at a meetins of the National Society, declared that tho idea that religious subjects could be taught in one place and secular subjects in another, was erroneous. Education must be an organic whole controlled by the churches, not by an Education Department nnd county councils.
