THE COMING SESSION.
PRIME MINISTER INTERVIEWED. (By Telegraph.—Frees Association.) 'Auckland, June i. Tho Primo Minister informed an interviewer that preparations for tho work for ths forthcoming session are well in hand. Mr. Massey will be engaged in Wellington for the.greater part of tho coming three weeks in completing arrangements for the session. Do you anticipate.o- long Bession? tho Prime Minister was asked. "1 -do not know that it will be anusually long for a middle session," he replied, "Tjnt it is what is termed a working sespion, 'and a great deal of important business will be dealt with." In regard to the Government's naval policy, Mr. Massey said that die recommendations of the Minister for Defence had yet to bo placed before Cabinet, ano he was unable to make any statement at present. In all probability the first announcement of the Government's intention would be made to Parliament.
