The has concluded ,a tentative contract with the Griffiths, Norton, Company, of London, to expend «£3,000,000 on the construction of railways, including the remaining sections of tho North Coast and Condoblin Broken ; Hill lines. Tho company secures the <£3,000,000 at current rates of interest, as required, and will provide a staff of engineers, the supervision of the work receiving remuneration at the rate of 5. per centum' cost of the work,.
