o- — . At: a meeting of old boys of tho Wellington Boys' Institute last week, a sub-com-mittee was set up to make out a constitution for an Old Boys' Club, nnd to arrange for an opening "social." A class iii commercial work will begin next Friday evening,' the course including book : keepind, commercial arithmetic, and allied subjects. Tho class is free, and as a competent instructor is available in Mr. A. Hore, of the Government Audit Office, it is expected that a good cla=q will be formed. The following boys' committee has been set up. and will hold its fifst meeting on Thursday:—H. Blair (chairman), L. Constable and P. Wright (seniors), G. Bell and R. Blair (intermediates), and N. Smith and R. Coulter (junior). One of the first duties of the committee, will be to arrange for a "social" to be given for junior members shortly.
