MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
(Before Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M.) Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M., presided at Saturday's sitting of the Magistrate's Court. The following offenders for insobriety were dealt with: James Hughes lined 10s„ 'with the option of going to gaol for 48 hours; Jean Vobbe was fined 205., in default three days' imprisonment; Thos. Connolly was fined 10s„ in default 48 hours' imprisonment. Two first offenders were fined 10s. each, in default 24 hours' imprisonment.
