The students showed none ot the vim that has cliaraCterised the r play in proviens inatchcs, and, although they omerged from the battle a victorious tram, it cannot bo said that all the gloiy was theirs on tho day. LADIES' SENIOR. ? The ".star" attraction of Hut ladies' competition oil Saturday was tho meeting of liamblers A ami College Old Girls at Karori. Tito superior combination of the liambler team brought them out on top at tlie end of the game by 2 goals, scored by Miss G. Harris, to nil. Miss Lane was very prominent for Ramblers and from her position on the wing, sent in somo very creditable centres. Sir. Boyd was referee. St. Augustine's were vanquished by tho fast-improving Girls' College team by 4 goals to nil. Misyo9 Lanrenson (2) and Mellor (2) shot the wiuners' goals. Mr. G. Davies was referee. Ramblers B were defeated by Sirens by G goals to nil. Miss Dement (4) and Miss de Launey (2) were tho goa!-gc(ters for tho winners. Mr. Austin was in chargo of the gome. Gregg's were badly Ixjatcn by Victoria College at ICarori by 7 goals (scored by Misses Arthur (.")), Wallace, Uagg, Evans, and Campbell (1 each) to nil.
