A Presentation. On Thursday* evening Mrs. Willi!, headmistress of tho Ashburton Borough School, was presented by tlio girls in the upper standards with a silver serviette ring and a silver-mounted violet bowl. Jli-,5 Elsie Emerson made the presentation, and read an address, which stated that tho presentation was made in recognition of Mrs. Willis's kindness to the girls during their visit to XI.M.S. Zealand. The address was signed by twenty of the older girls. Mr. Schneider, the headmaster, spoko highly of the work of Mrs. Willis, who, he said, was loved by the children. Mrs. Willis thanked her pupils for the gift.
