CARGO TO BE DISCHARGED. (By Telegraph.—Press Associstion.l , Darnaville, May 30. The steamer Inga, whichyesterdav struck Iho rocks near Toka Toka, wlnlc leaving ICaipara timber-laden for Sydney, had a hole torn in her hull. The captain deemed it advisablo to return for an inspection, and berthed the vessel at Aoroa. It will bo necessary to discharge half a million' feet of timber in order that a survey may be made.

The Marino Department was advised yesterday that the vessel had been got off the rocks in a damaged condition. Her forefoot was twisted, her plates had started, and she was damaged in the bottom, somewhere in the fore-hold, as she was making water. A thorough examination and any repairs necessary will bo carried out before tho steamer is allowed to leave liaipara.
