TECHNICAL SCHOOL.
MEETING OF MANAGERS. The monthly meeting of the, Board ot Managers of the Wellington Technical School was held last evening, there being present: The chairman (Mr. D. Eobert6on), and Messrs. D. M'Laren, G. Frost. J. Smith, W. H. Field, J. G. W. Aitken, J. P. Luke, and Wm. Allan. The statement of finances disclosed a credit balance of ,£412 3s. 2d. For the corresponding period of the previous year there was a debit balance of £103 6s.
Practically the whdle of tho business transacted was taken in camera, the priny cipal topic of discussion being the oftdebated question of the school accommodation, and the lack of suitable buildings. •A committee, consisting of Messrs. D. Robertson, J. Smith. D. M'Laren, J. G. W. Aitken, and W. H. Field, was appointed to interview the City Councirwith regard to a certain course of action (at present of a confidential nature), to be pursued in connection with the board's agitation for a new building.
