MOTOR-CYCLING.
An interesting club run, in tho nature of a simple competition, will be held by members of the \\ cllington Motor Cycling Club this afternoon. Those talcing part will be taken over a course which includes some of the stillest hills in town. The captain (Mr. Nimmo) and vice-cap-tain (Mr. Plimmer) will be in charge. The officials of the club will be posted on 'the different hills, and the performances of tho machines will be noted'and filed for future reference. Oil Tuesday (King's Birthday)'a hill .climb will bo held on the Paekakariki Hill, under tht, auspices of the Manawatu Motor Cycle Club. • All classes of motor-cycles will be catercd for, and a special medal is offered to the rider beating tho previous Tccord for tho hill, viz., 4min. 10 2-s?ec„ held by Mr. G. B. Brown, 3J-h.p. Triumph. The first event is timed for 10.S0 a.m.
