ILLEGAL VOTING.
CASE OF SIR STUART SAMUEL. A CLAIM BARRED. By ToleeraDh—Press Association—Copyrißht London, May 25. The case has concluded in which Oswald Forbes, as a common informer, sued Sir Stuart' Samuel, claiming ,£46,000 as penalties against Sir Stuart for sitting Find voting in tho House of Commons when he was not legally entitled to do so. The judgment declared that illegal voting by Sir Stuart Samuel had been prov-< ed, but that Mr. Forbes's claim was barred by previous writs issued by informers named Burnett, and Chambers. Tho Judge added that tho thrco informers had proceeded under the wrons statute. Judgment was therefore entered for defendant, with costs.
