The offer was declined and the secretary was instructed to write rtatinc that a similar offer, if repeated, would be considered at a future date. A letter was received from tho Canterbury Association - intimating that their team would arrive ill Wellington )n it'osday, June 3, play Wellington that afternoon, and return tho same evening, the match will be played on the Basin Keserve, tho Wellington l'ootball Association having obtained permission to charge for admission. ■V letter was received from- the Uwgo Football Association stating that t;c.v wero willing to play 'Wellington frr tho Brown Shield at Wellington on June 21. It was further stated' that there was every chance of a schools' representative team* accompanying the Otago representatives to Wellington. Messrs. Godber, Paton, and ioeman havo selected ' the following representatives to play Canterbury on the Bn.sin Keservo on June 3: — ' . Goal—Hollis (Y.M.C.A.).
