At a meeting of the Wanganui Presbytery held at Marton to-day it was resolved that Mr. Moore) bo left in charge of Raetihi. The Jtov. IJ. H. Cathetwood, ■ of Taihape, was authorised to' attend to the matter of securing a church section at Pipiriki. The Rev. E. G. Evans reported on behalf of tho commission appointed to visit the Taihape charge, and stated that Taihape showed very healthy life •under the ministry" of the Rev. Catherwood'i so much so that it was desired that a student assistant should be sent during summer months. The Rev. A. Doull, reporting on tho recent Oringi camp, said that tho weather was very trying on both horses and men, but thg character and conduct of the men was vory gratifying. The Presbyterian marquee for rending, etc., was'very largely used and 1400 letters were posted in the private, box. Several matters in Mr. Doull's report were referred to the General Assembly's Committee for report. A call from a congregation to the Rev. John M'Caw was laid on the table and supported. It was resolved that the call be sustained and forwarded to the Presbytery of Ilawke's Bay. Plans for the new church at Terrace End .were approved.
