SUDANESE EXPEDITION.
VAST TERRITORY OPENED UP. London, May 12. Tho Dinka tribes in Bahr el Gazal, an Egyptian- province of the Sudan, blocked tlio construction of roads by tho Egyptian authorities. An expedition was dispatched to suppress tho opposition, and it received the full submission of tlio tribes. Tho expedition also opened up a vast district north of AA'ait, a Sudanese town GOO miles south-west of Khartum.—Sydney "Sun."
