' Jlessrs. Dalgety and .Comnany, Md.. report on their Taratatri sale as follows:—A medium entry of both sheep and cattle waa offered to a fair attendance of buyers. In sheep, only 'really Rood lines were inquired for, ajred and inferior sorts beitic practically neglected. The same remarks apply to cattlo, with tho exception of extra {?ood heifers at drop and eoring calvers, a few line 3 of which ?o!d particularly well. The following is a list of pricw rcjilircd:Mixed aged Eomney ewes (account n. jun.). 175.; aged ewea in lamb, 6s. 9d. to 7s. 7d.; cull ewes, to ss. 6d.; fat and forward lambs, 12fl. 3d. to 12s. 6d.; small blar.kfaced lambs, 7s. Cattle: Heifers, _at drop, £7 12s. 6d. tp £7 17s. 6d.; spring calreu, £5 to £6 10s.; forward cows, £i 15s. to £4 10s.; store cows, £1 103. to £2 55.: 18-months, £2 155.; mixid weaners, £1 to £1 Bs. 6d.
Messrs. Gillies and Nalder, auctioneers, Hawera, report that they held a successful sale on account of Mr. P. A. Bremer, at their Horso Bazaar, Hawera, on May 24. when they offorod liis Armadale draught stud. With tho exception of Gay Ersldne. Ersldne's Heir and- lloyal Thistle, everything was sold. The abovo colts wero shown in excellent condition, but hiddine dill not roach the reserves. Mr. Bremer intends sending these to Sydney.
