' Monsignor Drew, senior lioman Catholic chaplain, to the forces, has declined an invitation to attend the Peace Society's meeting at tho Mansion House. The prelate's letter of refusal states that although the Catholic Church is a dear lover of pcace, she admits tho lawfulness and even the necessity for war ill certain conditions.
