JTHE TRIGGERS & THE WIRE FENCE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Timaru, May 26. William Thomas, farmer, Geraldine, as found dead oil Saturday. He went .out haro shooting, and the gun was found : in a fence with the triggers caught in tho ' .wire. It is supposed he was dragging tho gun. through tho fence; when it went off, and blew almost half -his head oil. -At the inquest a .'verdict: of accidental death '.was returned. v Deceased was 36 years of ioge, and a uiitivo of Lincoln, Canterbury. TRAP & MOTOR COLLIDE. Timaru, May 26. In a collision between a motor-car and ■a trap on Saturday night, a Mrs. \\oli9 and daughter, who were in the trap, were rendered unconscious and badly bruised. The trap, hor*e, and motor-car were badly damaged. BROKEN BONES AT RUGBY. Foxton, May 26. During the progress of the Foxton-Levin senior football match on Saturday, a Maori named Shamrock, a Foxton player, had his leg broken, and a Levin player in tho same match had his collarbone broken.. WATERSIDE WORKER'S DEATH. Dunedin, May 26. John Ramton, aged 46 years, a waterside worker, who was admitted to tho hospital on April 23,' suffering from internal bleeding, died yesterday. It is not yet known whether tho injuries wtro duo to a strain at work or not.
