THORNDON CLUB. On Satmday afternoon the season's play on tbe Thorndon Club's green was brought to a clo£o, a large number of members and visitors being present. Two special games we'fo played, viz., "The Roses" and "Tho Shamrocks," which resulted as under:— Roses.—Cohen, Dr. Pattio, Conlin, Dimock (s.), 22; Staff, Murdoch, Kilgour, Hogben (s.), 18. Shamrocks.—Arden, Buckridgo, P. Brandon, Pringle (6.), 81; Upham, Dtimbeli, Freeman, D. Y. Wilson (s.), 14.
