SECRET SOCIETIES.
ITALIAN OFFICERS WARNED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. May 25, 5.5 p.m.) Rome, May 2d. General Springardi and Admiral Cattolica, Ministers for AYar and Marine respectively, in speaking in the Senate, warned officers not to join secret societies.
Both utterances have been applauded by the press, which calls on officers belonging to the Freemasons to withdraw.
