Ho, was unaware of any preccdont for tho ruling given by tho chairman, and in new of Mr. Perry's emphatic opinion on the point, he thought it was competent for tho committee to reconsider tho chairman's decision, and if adverse to him (the writer), if could be accepted as a precedent in future cases. Ho was willing to act as a referee on future occasions if requii'cd. Porsonal'feeling did not actuate him in requesting tho committee to reconsider the matter.

Tho matter, it was decided, should bo placed before tho honorary solicitor.
